Create Directories / Virtual Folders

To improve the way you store your files in the Extranet, you can create ‘Sub Folders’ within your projects. Folders work in the same way as ‘Directories’ on your desktop computer file system.

You can create an unlimited number of ‘Folders within folders’. And you can store an unlimited number of files within a folder.

To create a Folder:

- Open the desired ‘Project’
- Choose a Client
- Choose a Project
- You may wish to navigate into an existing ‘Folder’ if available
- Click ‘Create Folder’ on the small secondary navigation bar
- This link may be available on the ‘New Project Wizard’ for new projects
- Enter your desired Folder Name
- Choose Client Access
- The folder will be ‘Private’ unless you choose to allow ‘Client Access’
- Contents of a ‘Private’ folder can not be seen by any ‘Client’ users – even those invited to the project. (See section 6d. – Controlling Access)
- Even the existence of a ‘Private Folder’ is hidden from a ‘Client User’
- Click ‘Create Folder’

Your Folder will be instantly created.
